One of our favorite Thai spots in the Austin area! Coming from the East Coast, it took us forever to find a place with authentic Thai food and a really good Panang curry, and Barn Yen Thai absolutely delivers. The Panang curry is easily the highlight for us and keeps us coming back! We also love the chicken shumai, they have a surprisingly decent wine selection, and the kids’ fried rice is always a hit. The tom yum had great flavor, and so did the spring rolls. Service is quick; everyone is very nice. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. Great experience overall! So happy we finally found our go-to Thai place!

Amazing presentation and the food was so delicious. My son dug into the Chicken Fried Rice before I could get a picture. Also the Gyoza dumplings were not at our table for long. I highly recommend the mango sticky rice. It was sooo good!

Delicious! So glad we tried this restaurant. Very busy place on a Friday evening about 6pm with steady stream of dine-in customers and carry out orders. The staff was friendly and courteous with the right amount of attention. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable for a strip-center restaurant. We tried the sampler of appetizers and glad we did. Enjoyed trying a variety of food options along with different dipping sauces. The photos show the entree and dessert we also enjoyed. The Pad Kee Mao at medium spice was just right for a spicy, tasty dish. Love spicy but also want to taste the food. The sticky rice was slightly sweet and yet refreshing with the mango slices. Bottom line: would definitely eat here again and highly recommend this restaurant for delicious, fresh food, nicely presented, and pleasantly served.

Absolutely loved this Thai restaurant! The Pad Thai was delicious, the basil fried rice was full of flavor, and the iced tea was so refreshing. The service was warm and attentive, and even the cutlery was beautiful and added a nice touch to the whole experience. Will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant is spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The two of us ordered the Pad Ga Pow with pork and the spring roll sampler, and both were flavorful and satisfying. The portions were filling, and the dishes tasted quite authentic. Overall, a solid spot for Thai food that we’d happily come back to again.
